The new year so far

The first week of the New Year is over, and it feels like life is back to normal. I am slacking on housework again, and hoping I will stop feeling so tired. Miss M is building Lego skyscrapers for a contest, and already in debt for some secondhand Bryer horses we got today. I am having to ask permission from Miss A to use the phone, and she prefers being with her friends to us. My husband is back to work, and we are back to school, playing some major catch-up after a month off. The dog is a bit sluggish at times but has had no seizures since he started his epilepsy medicine (thank you, Heavenly Father). We have had so many weather warnings we have started to think we set a 6:00 am alarm on our weather radio (nope, just snow/rain/wind/flood warnings at least once a week). The snow is almost all gone around here, and in its place we are wondering if we should have kept the boat as we watch all the local rivers rise. Grandpa and Grandma never made it here after Christmas thanks to the winter storms, so they won't be out to see us until spring. I haven't moved any more furniture, but we did replace couple of bookshelves in the office. The tall one was slanting so much I was convinced it was going to fall over any day. Through it all, we are thankful for our health, our job, our friends and family, and all the little annoyances we call life.

I love that my new year isn't the only one that is back to "normal" already. Let me know if you figure out how to combat the tiredness and the 12 going on 20 person at your house. LOL. I can't believe that they are 12! (ok, so Haylee isn't until next week)
I love that we can keep up on each others lives through the blogs!
Happy New Year!
