I recently discovered The Cutters by Bess Streeter Aldrich. It is a collection of short stories about a mother raising a family, written in the 1920's. It is a joy to read and a great reminder of why I do what I do.
She's written a host of other short stories and books. I haven't met one I haven't liked yet.

I enjoyed reading this book while at the johnson's cabin. Is that where you discovered it? Very cute.
The book sounds cool!- also glad you posted a post about how to make a blog look more beautiful! One day I will do that!
