Thank You Note

Dear Betty,

Thanks so much for all the cute hair things you have given Megan. It is so nice to see her with her hair put up in a cute ponytail.

Of course, yesterday she put them to a slightly different use. She made white paper dog ears and attached them to the hair clips. Then she clipped them into her hair to complement her outfit--a white t-shirt turned inside out with a red t-shirt turned inside out safety pinned to the back for a cape. She completed the look with a paper dog collar with a Superman logo taped around her neck and a paper tail safety pinned to the bottom of her pants. And I can't forget to mention the white socks she wore on her hands.

Little did we know that when you gave her those, you were preparing her to be a super hero.
